Free West Papua : KKB Shots The Motocycle Taxi Driver in Papua
Reporting from Tribunnews.com, a motorcycle taxi driver was killed after being shot by members of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) in Wiyukwi Village, Mulia District, Puncak Jaya Regency, Papua, Saturday (2/2/2019) at around 17.49 WIT. Kompas.com reported, the victim named Sugeng Efendi was 25 years old.
He was shot at a kiosk owned by a resident in front of Mulia 1 Public High School. Sugeng died after getting a gunshot wound in the neck. The Head of Public Relations of the Papua Regional Police, Pol. Comr. Ahmad Mustofa Kamal revealed that the incident occurred when the victim who was a motorcycle taxi driver was watching at a kiosk owned by Alfan Mustofan.
At that time, said Ahmad Mustofa, the victims and witnesses were inside the kiosk. The victim was sitting watching a movie on his cellphone, while the witness at that time was lying behind the victim.
Suddenly the sound of an eruption sounded like a gun once. "Then the victim said to the witness with the word asking for help, I got hit," Kamal said when confirmed Saturday night.
At that time, the witness who was also afraid to see the victim being shot, continued Kamal, immediately pulled the victim and ran him to the nearest hospital. The shooter immediately fled.
